What below grade actually means
A standard grind takes the stump 6 to 8 inches under the surrounding soil line, which is enough for sod, seed or a flower bed. If you are pouring a slab, setting a fence post or planting a replacement tree in the same hole, we go 12 inches or deeper and chase the major buttress roots.
You choose what happens to the grindings. We can rake them back into the void and crown it for settling, or haul them off and bring in topsoil.

Our tracked grinders fit through a 36 inch gate and leave far less turf damage than a tow-behind machine. Before the wheel turns, we locate irrigation heads, invisible fence, septic lines and shallow utilities. Public utility locates are requested where required.
