Pickwick Lake · Property planning
Lake-home access comes first.
A shoreline lot may offer very little room to move. Before removal or pruning, talk through the grade, the approach to the house and the route for debris.

01
Slopes change the setup
Describe steep sections, retaining walls and where the driveway levels out. Equipment placement and material handling need to suit the actual ground conditions.
02
Keep the work focused
If the concern is a limb over the roof, pruning may be the conversation to start with. For a damaged or unstable tree, discuss removal and the space available for controlled handling.
03
Confirm shoreline restrictions separately
Before any clearing near the water, check applicable property, association and shoreline requirements with the responsible authority. A tree-service estimate does not replace permission for regulated work.
A couple of good questions
Can every steep lot take a crane?
No. Stable setup space, reach and access must be assessed. Other equipment or climbing methods may be more suitable.
Can I arrange a visit when I am away?
Call to discuss authorized access, the trees in question and who can approve the work. A clear address and contact person help avoid confusion.
